FISHING

FISHY TAILS!! My favourite pastime. Having enjoyed many hours along the banks of the great Yorkshire rivers; The Ouse, Ure, Warfe; mainly course fishing! And continuing with many excursions along the Manx rivers, for trout and finally sea fishing, I may place some useful information here for would-be fishing visitors to these shores. Until then I will merely host some of my memorable moments of success (and failure) whilst I delve through my photo albums. |

POT-HOLE DAZE! A
nostalgic look (for me anyway) to the long gone days when I could
squeeze through a hole no larger than a letter-box - well -
almost!!. When daylight hours were spent in the dark; getting soaked on the outside and the rest of the time spent in the dark getting soaked on the inside!! |

St Bede's Grammar School, Heaton, Bradford. The date - 1962 ish. The bad eggs of "Fifth Remove" class rejoice being made prefects for a few weeks before being kicked out into the big world! |

SCIENCE PAGE I'm not
going to bore you with Rocket Science subjects here, but some
aspects of science I find truly fascinating, like space, time, and
black holes. The Hubble Space Telescope has provided some fantastic
shots of our universe, some of which I give you a taster of here. If

I'm
afraid this page turned out to be a bit of a No no!
I did keep a Calendar of events for a couple of years, but it was not worth the effort! I am simply keeping it open with the spectacular "Great Moments in Sporting History" snapshots for your amusement!! I will of course add some more if I can aquire them. |
